Art & Culture Live!: Community Collaborations - ArTown
ArTown was based on Picasso and brought various artistic activities to Spring Grove at the behest of the Spring Grove Public Library (Spring Grove, MN). It included painting and acting workshops, custom postage stamps for the event, and exhibits and performances. The postage stamps were designed by the winners of the Picasso studio arts class.

May 19, 2010 – Picasso for Kids Art Exhibit at Bluff Country Artists Gallery (Spring Grove, MN)
May 19, 2010 – One Word Portrait Exhibit at Bluff Country Artists Gallery (Spring Grove, MN)

The partnering organizations assisted in the development of the programs, publicity, supplies, and provided the space for the events to take place.
Program Outputs: Outputs are things you can count such as attendance, number of new participants, and the number of attendees who had never been at a similar event, and so on.
A total of 6 programs had 210 people attend. Of that, 101 surveys were returned.

The general expectation going into the program was low or nonexistent as the program was both new and free to the public. However, all returned surveys indicated a positive response pertaining to the ArTown projects’ ability to create awareness of local talent and the art of Picasso. Most respondents expressed interest in future art opportunities.
