Project Overview

The Vetted Programs were created by request from SELCO public library directors and intended to involve less library staff time dedicated to individual programming plans. Library staff expressed a desire for a simple, turnkey program approach that they could easily implement and manage for their communities. SELCO and the Vetting Committee maintain a catalog of performers on contract with SELCO to provide their services. This interactive play for kids combines classic fable characters with fun games. Tales include: The Ant and the Grasshopper, Tortoise and the Hare, The Lion and the Mouse, Anansi the Spider, Raven and Grandmother Mouse, and The Elves and the Shoemaker. This live-action and puppet show brings its unique storytelling to communities throughout SE Minnesota.
