Laura offers multiple programs, including a storytime with sound effects and actions, a poetry session with reading and writing poems, and several other programs geared toward getting children or adults reading and writing and learning how to share this artform with others in their community.

Attendees will have enhanced knowledge and understanding of the topic. Attendees will have a positive experience at the library. After seeing this program, people will want to return to the library for future programs. Patrons and librarians will express that vetted programs are of high quality. Surveys will be handed out following events.
Respondants enjoyed the poems and liked learning about the writer's journey to public and about writing poetry.
