Arna's programs feature Nordic song and dance and traditional musical instruments. Stories of immigrants, traditions, and folklore appropriate for all ages bring history and culture alive for all in attendance.

Attendees will have enhanced knowledge and understanding of the topic. Attendees will have a positive experience at the library. After seeing this program, people will want to return to the library for future programs. Patrons and librarians will express that vetted programs are of high quality. Surveys will be handed out following events.
Everyone agreed that the presentation taught them something new on the topic, and all remarked that it was a positive experience. Everyone felt the presentation was a good one, and that they could connect with the subject. Comments from the librarian at the program were, "Most attendees were of Norwegian decent and had ancestors immigrate to America. Arna read from a Norwegian Immagrants in America book and read names of some of the first Norwegian settlers in Goodhue County. This established a wonderful connection to the audience immediately."
