Laura has multiple programs available featuring Celtic music and instruments. ?Celtic? can describe music from a number of areas, including Ireland and Scotland, regions of France, Northern Spain, Wales and Nova Scotia. She performs traditional music on a fascinating array of wind-powered instruments, including a variety of wooden flutes and tin whistles, various types of bagpipes (bellows and blown), concertina, gemshorn and voice.

Attendees will have enhanced knowledge and understanding of the topic. Attendees will have a positive experience at the library. After seeing this program, people will want to return to the library for future programs. Patrons and librarians will express that vetted programs are of high quality. Surveys will be handed out following events.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Respondants enjoyed learning about the different intstruments, especially the bagpipes and flutes. Beautiful music, and explained the culture behind the music.
