As a central repository and resource for digitized Minnesota newspapers, the Hub will make historic newspapers freely accessible over the Internet and provide greatly improved access through keyword searching of the page content. The SELCO newspapers are a key component and MHS has uploaded all of the digitized SELCO newspapers to the Hub.

The Minnesota Historical Society digitized approximately 80,600 pages of public domain newspapers printed between 1857-1923 in Houston, Steele, and Wabasha counties using NDNP technical standards.
