Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Measurable Outcomes may be collected by survey, anecdotal responses, pre-test/post-test, observations; End user change in Behavior, Attitude, Skills, Knowledge, Condition and/or Status

Measurable Outcome(s)

By the end of the program, the children should understand the importance of wetland conservation as necessary to a survivable habitat for MN acquatic wildlife. A toy duck craft will be introduced to underline the importance of successful conservation.Through questions asked by the children,we knew that they understood the importance of wetland conservation in order to provide a viable habitat for ducks and other acquatic wildlife. The presenter also asked the children easy questions which they answered. By painting toy ducks, the children developed a closer interest in ducks in particular and the habitat necessary to sustain them. Some of the adults commented that they better understand now why "we can't drain all of those mosquito invested swamps and wetlands."
