Legacy Sponsorship Grants 2010: Author Dee Kramer
Dee Kramer, author of Bayani's Bridge, gave an excellent presentation on April 14, 2010, which included how she was inspired, and the various steps it takes to get a book well written and published. She followed her presentation with a question and answer session and book signing.
An Edgerton citizen helped us to get the program organized and also presented the author.
At this pesentation at the library, it was mostly middle age and older people who knew the author.

The nice sized group of interested readers learned details about the process of writing and the publishing of books. Attendees expressed empathy for the subject of the book, and that the author wanted to write this book with dignity for the people of Manila who make their meager income from the dump grounds.We were made to realize that writing a book is not a small process, but goes through many steps to not only get it written but published.
