Project Overview

Dee Kramer, author of Bayani's Bridge, gave an excellent presentation on April 14, 2010, which included how she was inspired, and the various steps it takes to get a book well written and published. She followed her presentation with a question and answer session and book signing.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Measurable Outcomes may be collected by survey, anecdotal responses, pre-test/post-test, observations; End user change in Behavior, Attitude, Skills, Knowledge, Condition and/or Status

Measurable Outcome(s)

The nice sized group of interested readers learned details about  the process of writing and the publishing of books.  Attendees expressed empathy for the subject of the book, and that the author wanted to write this book with dignity for the people of Manila who make their meager income from the dump grounds. We were made to realize that writing a book is not a small process, but goes through many steps to not only get it written but published.
