Measurable Outcome(s)

The children and teachers were thrilled with Paul and Blaise coming to the school. Thank you letters were written to the author and illustrator by the 2nd grade from Pleasantview Elementary. Many children requested that Paul and Blaise come back next fall after their new book is published. The School Librarian from Heron Lake called to express her gratitude for providing the experience to her students. The students were all asking to check out the new books. The children got to learn about how Paul wrote the book and see how Blaise drew the pictures. This was a great opportunity for a large number of children to get the experience of meeting an author and illustrator.
