Project Overview

CLIMB Theatre presented "Rhymin' Simon," a CLIMB Theatre original which was performed by 2 actors. One of the local churches had an evening family event that whole week so that had a huge impact on our attendance. But, in spite of our low attendance which ranged in age from preschool age to 13 years, every one of the kids was eager to participate. The performers had their attention right from the start (even the older students!) and all were willing participants.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The children really got into the rhyming concept. It was fun to see this wide age range express themselves while interacting with the performers.  By the end they were all up and involved and experimenting with using different voices and expressions in response to the actors.  It was a good, positive experience for those who were a little shy or inhibited to begin with.  Parents enjoyed the event and were appreciative that their children could have this experience.
