Project Overview

Mary Logue came to talk about her series of Claire Watkins mysteries that take place in Minnesota and to talk about what it means for her to be a writer.

Meinders Community Library partnered with Plum Creek Library System for a series of author talks throughout the region.
Adults interested in both mystery novels and writing in general were the most interested in the program. The people in attendance learned a LOT about the process of writing a book, especially one based around actual locations. I know that people's attitudes changed about local authors because not only are Mary's books being checked out more frequently, but other Minnesota authors have been going like hotcakes.
