Legacy Sponsorship Grants 2010: Catherine Friend
Tracy Public Library sponsored an author event with Catherine Friend on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Catherine talked about the different types of books she has written. She mentioned her inspiration and how she went about getting published. She read excerps from the books. Catherine talked about the projects she is currently working on. She answered questions as they came up, and laughed with us. Wonderful time for all.

atherine talked about the difference bewteen publishing things yourself, or going through an agent and known publishing house.She talked about the benifits of using an agent.Some who had not read the books, did not realize the author was gay. They sat very straight in their chairs. But after Catherine began talking, they relaxed and looked like they were enjoying themselves, laughing along with the rest anyway.
