Vetted Performer: Emma Lea Blank
The Vetted Programs were created by request from SELCO public library directors and intended to involve less library staff time dedicated to individual programming plans. Library staff expressed a desire for a simple, turnkey program approach that they could easily implement and manage for their communities. SELCO and the Vetting Committee maintain a catalog of performers on contract with SELCO to provide their services. Emma Lee Blank brings music and story telling to our libraries - to children and adults of all ages. Her programs provide opportunities for singing along and are very interactive.

This was a program geared for children, so the responses from them indicated that most would return to the library for future programs, and that they enjoyed the program they saw. The librarian expressed that the program was fine, but that she had understood puppet were part of the program and was disappointed that they were not there that day. Children responded to what their favorite part of the visit was with "The Stories! - Singing and playing around - The songs - and, The music".
