Vetted Program: National Eagle Center
The Vetted Programs were created by request of the SELCO public library directors. This turnkey program provides the opportunity for a variety of artists, musicians, authors, and storytellers to share their performances.

To have participants recognize the library is a place to experience quality programming.
Increase participants' knowledge of different arts and cultural heritage topics/programs.
Expose library patrons to arts, performances, events they may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience in their community.
Evaluations were done using surveys, focus groups, and/or interviews.

5) What did (participant) like best about this program?
"The live eagle!"
They really liked the presenters. "They were enjoyable, entertaining, made it easy to understand the facts they talked about, and historic informative."
"I have never been this close to an eagle before!"
6) How could (SELCO/library) improve this program?
They would like to see more eagles in the program than just one. I think this is the BIGGEST program I have ever had since the Legacy Vetted Program began.
This just proves that we need MORE quality programs coming to our small communities out here, if we are not allowed to have transportation as part of the vetted programs like before.
