To hire qualified professionals to publish a book on the history of 20th century Jewish immigrant culture in Minnesota.
To hire a qualified conservator to restore a significant object in the museum's collections.
This year we will have many local Minnesota bands as well as Rob Fairbanks (Rez Reporter), a local comedian from the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwa.
This project includes several exhibit creations and enhancements; multilingual signage in English, Ojibwe, Spanish, and Braille, and support to the Children's Museum Educator program.
To provide better organization and analysis of archaeological collections, allowing for greater public access to historic resources.
To document in oral history interviews the history of Jewish immigrant communities in St. Paul.
To hire qualified consultants to develop and install an exhibit on Iron Range labor history.
To hire qualified professionals to produce a manuscript on the history of independent scholarship in Minnesota.
To hire qualified professionals to publish Howard Greene's journals about the north woods of Minnesota.
To create 3 Winona County entries for the MNopedia project for online research.
