Warrior Nation, A History of the Red Lake Ojibwe with Anton Treuer
Anton Treuer shared his oral histories gathered from tribal elders across the reservation that told a fascinating history of the Red Lake Ojibwe. The Red Lake Band made available its archival collections, including the personal papers of Peter Graves, the political strategist and tribal leader of the first half of the twentieth century.

The intended outcome of the program is to allow patrons the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of Minnesota, specifically the Ojibwe Nations. A survey was distributed to receive feedback from those attending the programs.
Surveys were distributed to participants at all programs. 98% strongly agreed that this was an enjoyable experience and 98% strongly agreed that they would attend a similar event. Comments: "This was very thought provoking." "It would be good for society if more Minnesotans heard Mr. Treuer." "Very effective presentation-increased awareness on many levels."
16 libraries provided space staff, and additional promotion for the programs and approximately 15 regional newspapers provided marketing through press releases, photos and interviews with artists and performers.
