Project Overview

How do athletes become Olympians? How do you become the best you can be? What word would you wish for the world? Find your word of encouragement and let it fly. Creativity Tank artists guided participants in the process of designing their own personal flag through drawing and printmaking on fabric. Simple stitching completed the project for hanging.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Surveys were distributed to participants at all programs. 82% strongly agreed that this was an enjoyable experience and 80% strongly agreed that they would attend a similar event. Comments: " Kids had a lot of fun learning to paint." "I loved that my daughter and I could participate together in this program." "The children were given many tools to promote activity." This was a very well thought out and presented program."
