One Book Northland
The Duluth and Cloquet Public Library, in partnership with the U of MN-Duluth, Barnes and Noble, the Bookstore at Fitger's, and the Arrowhead Reading Council bring together speakers for a themed event. The theme this year was Locally Laid-How We Built a Plucky, Industry-Changing Egg Farm-From Scratch with Duluth author Lucie Amundsen.

The intended outcome of the arts program is to allow patrons the opportunity to hear from authors and to learn to enjoy reading. Families learn to develop creative problem solving skills and increase reading comprehension, A survey was distributed to receive feedback from those attending the programs.
Surveys were distributed to participants at all programs. 90% strongly agreed that this was an enjoyable experience and 85% strongly agreed that they would attend a similar event.
7 libraries provided space staff, and additional promotion for the programs and approximately 6 regional newspapers provided marketing through press releases, photos and interviews with artists and performers.
