Pint Size Polkas performed an educational music program based on the polka genre for kids "of all ages" at each of our eight outreach stops in Braham, Isanti, Duquette, Giese, Hill City, Jacobson, McGrath and Onamia the week of June 20-24, 2016.

Attendees will experience and learn about polka music and the accordion in an environment that is both educational and entertaining, inspiring everyone to be excited about learning about a unique and traditional style of music.

Measurable Outcome(s)

50% of those in attendance stated that they would not have had the opportunity to attend such a program if Legacy funds had not brought the program to them. Comments from attendees included: Thanks for coming to McGrath; My kids didn't know what an accordion was; Brought back memories of 'ole' time dancing.
