107 Viking Knit Bracelet
A class on how to make a Viking knit bracelet was held at the North Branch Area Library on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Participants will complete a survey following the program and attendance will be recorded. Desired outcomes include; participants will learn the creative process of the ancient art of chain making by using wire and the centuries-old technique. They will also learn about the history of this Scandinavian jewelry piece and the tools as well as the skills required to make the bracelet.
60% of those in attendance felt they would not have had this experience had the library not held the program. Outcomes/comments from the survey included: 'This program is really fun and educational to learn about different cultures and some of our own heritage; It was so fun once I got the hang of the 'knitting.' I really appreciate the ability to come to my library. Thank you.'
