Attendees will complete a survey following the program and attendance will be recorded. Expected outcomes included: attendees will learn about: The causes of the Civil War; the important events leading to the war, the reason men volunteered to go off and fight in America's bloodiest war; the daily life of the typical soldier; the soldiers' uniforms & equipment; how the Civil War was fought; Civil War drill & tactics; and the terrible cost of this tragic war.

Comments received from program: Awesome - Brought the Braham Cub Scouts; he was good at causes and life of the soldier; Very good especially for young people - they will remember the civil war. My great grandpa was in the civil war in the 1st Minnesota; I was in the service. The Sargent reminded of basic training
