Historian and performer, Dale Blanshan, will give a presentation about one of the great musicals of all time, the Sound of Music, based upon a true story, the story of the Von Trapp family at the Wyoming Area Library on September 24, 2016.

Attendees will learn about one of the greatest musicals of all time, the Sound of Music, the story of the Von Trapp family, about WWII when the story takes place and more.Attendees will also have the opportunity to actively participate by singing many of the songs from the musical.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees were able to experience the Sound of Music in a unique way. Comments included: Engaging, cheerful speaker with facts for all ages to understand and enjoy; Great to sing/play harmonica along.
