Those in attendance will learn the story behind the book, A Cup of Christmas Tea by author Tom Hegg and the history behind this best-selling poem. They will also learn about what it is like to be an author and what it takes to have a book published.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Over 80% of those in attendance were age 55+ and over 88% rated the program as excellent.

When asked what one thing they learned from this program, answers included:
1) the story behind the publishing of the book
2) revisiting the importance of our elders, our family and relationships
3) reminded once again of the power of words
