Project Overview
The Como Zoo from St. Paul presented two children’s storytime activities, Bird-A-Wocky and Splashy, Flashy Frogs at the North Branch Area Library on July 16, 2015 and July, 22 respectively.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees will learn about the differences between birds and other animals; be engaged with an interactive bird story, The Spooky Tail of Prewitt Peacock by Bill Peet, followed by meeting a live bird. Attendees will learn about frogs, listen to the story, Possum and the Peeper by Anne Hunter; make a frog chorus and meet live animals and learn about the difference between a frog and a toad.

99% of those in attendance felt the program was very good to great. List ONE new thing you learned, SKILL you acquired, KNOWLEDGE you gained or ATTITUDE that was changed from attending this program: 1) learned about the different kinds of birds; 2) what a peacock does: 3) the difference between a toad and frog; 4) all about frog/toad habitat.
