Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to listen to a Minnesota professional singer/songwriter, hear some lesser-known traditional and some non-traditional holiday music selections. They will also able to learn about each song itself, its history and background before listening to it.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Almost 60% of those in attendance were unaware of the Arts & Cultural Heritage fund before attending the program. When asked to list ONE new thing you LEARNED, SKILL you acquired, KNOWLEDGE you gained or ATTITUDE that was changed from attending this program, they listed the following:

1) Heard some songs I have never heard before and stories about who wrote and sang them. Also the four most popular ever Christmas songs
2) Good information on songwriters, years written new songs (Christmas) to me. Nice variety of music
3) The history of the songs was very interesting
