Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees will learn about the mystery genre, each author's writing style and process. They will also have the opportunity to meet three very popular and successful Minnesota authors and participate in a discussion with them

Measurable Outcome(s)

Approximately 67% of those in attendance were aware of the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund. When asked to list ONE new thing you LEARNED, SKILL you acquired, KNOWLEDGE you gained or ATTITUDE that was changed from attending this program, the following answers were received:

1) If you want to be a writer, don't give up if it gets hard to do
2) How publishing works
3) Wm Kent Krueger both entertained and inspired me to read more, and to share my love of reading with others
4) The problems electronics may have on future reading and thinking
