Erin Hart and Paddy O'Brien
Attendees will learn about Ireland by listening to music and true stories of growing up (by Paddy O'Brien) and through the telling of a fictional tale based on an Irish 9th century book (by Minnesota author, Erin Hart)
91% of those in attendance were over the age of 55. When asked to List ONE new thing you LEARNED, SKILL you acquired, KNOWLEDGE you gained or ATTITUDE that was changed from attending this program, they listed the following:
1) How influential and wide ranging the influence of the Irish monks in medieval days was interesting
2) About lore - history Celtic music
3) I am not able to travel to Ireland in person so this was like a "mini" tour thru time and place - loved it
4) It was very interesting hearing stories of living in Ireland, and also the way an author would study up on the subject of her story/mystery by visiting the area. The music was great too!
