Bus Trip to Minnesota History Center Toy Exhibit
Those visiting the exhibit will take a nostalgic trip back to the toys of the 50's, 60's, 70's and their youth. Those not born yet will get a chance to see the toys their parents and/or grandparents played with as children. Those in attendance will also see how toys have evolved over the years, how toy experts judged the toys of these eras and learn about the people who invented them.
Over 65% of those who participated in the bus trip were over the age of 65.
When asked to List ONE new thing you LEARNED, SKILL you acquired, KNOWLEDGE you gained or ATTITUDE that was changed from attending this program, they listed the following:
1) I learned how many facets of our lives portray our history and define our times
2) Twister was invented in MN
3) History of toys and how they weathered the times
4) I'm getting old - I played with or remembered at least 1/2 of the toys. Great time of nostalgia for me
