Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The intended outcome of the arts program is to allow patrons the opportunity to create hands-on art projects and develop their skills as visual artists, such as creative problem solving, self-expression, small motor development, etc. A survey was distributed to receive feedback from those attending the programs.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Surveys were distributed to participants at all programs. 90% strongly agreed that this was an enjoyable experience and 85% strongly agreed that they would attend a similar event. Comments: This was so informative and hands-on. Both me and my 10-year old son enjoyed felting. Please plan more. This was so fun for me and my grandchildren. This spanned all age groups and everyone succeeded.

Source of Additional Funds

22 libraries provided space, staff, and additional promotion for the programs and approximately 10 regional newspapers provided marketing through press releases, photos and interviews with artists and performers.
