Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees will learn how to make a penny rug and the three stitches used the most in the process of putting a penny rug together. They will also learn about the history of crafting penny rugs which dates back to the 1800s.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The audience attending this program was mostly seniors with crafting experience. Reviews were mixed and we received our first "poor" review for any Legacy event.. Comments included: Sad sad sad the word "wool" was never used; never should have started a beginner on something so difficult to needle; Great program and introduction to penny rugs
