Attendees will learn about the history of the Thanksgiving holiday in America from its start in 1924 through today including: From our 1) President Roosevelt’s 1941 State of the Union speech; 2) Norman Rockwell’s subsequent series of wonderful illustrations; 3) the “Four Freedoms”; 4) the annual Presidential pardoning of the Thanksgiving turkey; 5) the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
