Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will learn about the similarities and differences between the four cultural dances presented, They will have a 45 minute period at each weekly program to learn a specific folk dance followed by another 45 minute session to practice the folk dance with the folk music; thus learning a new folk dance and having the opportunity to practice what they have learned while dancing to the appropriate folk music.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Survey comments included: The group learned and studied Pine county before performing - very smart; Wonderful connection to Pine County that I didn't know beforehand!; Loved it! Reminded me of my grandpa and his music from Norway; Very nice! Important to keep these songs alive!
