A broadcast series of in-depth conversations around issues and events that affect people of or entering retirement age in our region. Topics about art, history, and cultural significance as it pertains to people of an advanced maturity will be discussed.
KSMQ FY 22/23
$4,326,200 the first year and $4,326,200 the second year are to the Minnesota Public Television Association for production and acquisition grants according to Minnesota Statutes,?section 129D.18.
Viewers will be exposed to topics pertaining to arts, history, and of cultural significance from the point of view of senior adults and report feeling more engaged and invested in the senior community. Increased interest, understanding, and knowledge of what retirement life is like in Minnesota.
KSMQ viewers will be given a survey to determine if this project increased their interest, understanding, and knowledge of what retirement life is like in Minnesota. Also, KSMQ will consult a focus group that will review project outputs for their feedback. KSMQ will collect the number of views of outputs from the project posted on social media websites.
