The Minnesota Music Archive
WDSE-FM has long been champions of Duluth-based and Minnesota made music. From birth of the vastly influential Minnesota Punk Rock scene (Husker Du, The Replacements, etc) in the 1980s, to legendary Pop artists like Prince and innovators such as Bob Dylan, WDSE-FM has archived the history of music in Minnesota for decades. To that end, and in an effort to catalog the still-evolving history of Minnesota music, WDSE-FM will be developing a new online archive which will feature biographies, discographies, interviews, photos, video and recorded content that aims to be the most thorough in the state. Perhaps most importantly, WDSE-FM will not only be spotlighting Minnesota artists with international acclaim, we will also aim to feature even local and regional artists that may never have performed outside of our state. Our goal is to create the most comprehensive archive online. We will be encouraging members of the community to donate items and information to the archive. This will be done via an editable Wiki attached to the radio station's website.
