Media Production Arts and Cultural
Produce music performance programs and programs reflecting the vibrant arts community in Minnesota. Produce six (6) short features on Minnesota artists and cultural activities. Produce one (1) education module on science and/or art for use in the K-12 classroom. Produce eight (8) half hour studio performances by Minnesota musicians. We will broadcast a total of over 500 hours of programming annually, across all project titles, including premieres and encore broadcasts of legacy produced programming as well as other on-air representations. These shows, and additional material available from the Prairie Public library of programs, will be combined into a block of programs: "Lifelong Educational Investment into the Arts." Schedules and suggestions for educational programming is available on the Prairie Public website and referenced in all communications with educators.

$4,326,200 the first year and $4,326,200 the second year are to the Minnesota Public Television Association for production and acquisition grants according to Minnesota Statutes,?section 129D.18.
Attract over 500,000 hits on website for Arts & Cultural Heritage Funded Programs. Viewers will report increase interest, understanding, and knowledge of NW Minnesota's arts, culture, and history due to engaging with content produced with Legacy funding. Increased revenue for participants due to exposure.

Prairie Public's ability to produce and distribute arts and music, including historically and culturally significant arts and music, programs for our Minnesota audience has increased significantly with The Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF). Since anyone with a television and simple antenna will see these programs, one outcome expected is that underserved audiences get access to experiences they may not have otherwise been introduced to.
It is expected that the variety of arts and music productions proposed in this grant will help to create a strengthened understanding and connection among members of these underserved audiences and diverse communities. This outcome will also help Prairie Public to develop new relationships with collaborators, educators, and audiences in these underserved communities.
All productions are easily accessible and archived online, with an outcome goal of offering usefulness to individuals and organizations featured well beyond the broadcast. After sharing the content on social media, our goal is to see comments that indicate people are often surprised and inspired by the Legacy productions that Prairie Public produces. The social media stats of likes and shares already reported are measurable indications that Prairie Public's Legacy productions impact and change lives.
In addition, we often hear from individuals featured on Prairie Public productions and expect a similar outcome in upcoming productions. Individuals have reported that they have benefited financially from exposure on public television. They report being recognized in grocery stores, for instance, after being featured on Prairie Public?increasing valuable public relations opportunities for musicians and artists who may struggle with their own marketing efforts.
