History Day Hullabaloo
Duluth Public Library, Arrowhead Library System, and the Minnesota Historical Society sponsor a history day where they help students learn how to research information and how to decide between valuable information and its organization.
55 participated
The intended outcome was to help students learn the research process and how to organize their thoughts and the information they have located.
Surveys were distributed to participants at all programs. 90% strongly agreed that this was an enjoyable experience and 85% strongly agreed that they would attend a similar event. Comments: This was very helpful. I learned a lot.
1 library provided space, staff, and additional promotion for the programs and approximately 10 regional newspapers provided marketing through press releases, photos and interviews with artists and performers. Students from all libraries were invited to attend.
