Live From Studio A

A 20-to-38-minute interview and performance program of MN musicians and bands. WDSE-FM will invite Minnesota musicians to share their stories and perform Live from Studio A. Our 23-30 episodes of Live From Studio A will focus specifically on independent and emerging artists or MN artists from genres underrepresented in commercial radio play. KUMD will engineer, mix, record, and broadcast their live concert and interview to archive and share it in its entirety, online. While most performers will be live in our studios, we will continue to use technology adopted during the COVID-19 pandemic to do virtual sessions with musicians from outside of the Duluth area, broadening our ability to cover Minnesota artists.
