Speaker and Event Series
KVSC, in partnership with campus and community organizations, will present a speaker/event series with people tied to the state of Minnesota. Some of the SCSU partners may include the Women's Center, Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education, American Indian Center, Multi-Cultural Student Services or others. Community arts and culture organizations may be considered as partners too.
KVSC FY22/23 Legacy Grant
$1,891,500 the first year and $1,891,500 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
An increase in locally-focused and Minnesota focused content produced by public radio that is designed to increase access to art and culture.
More locally based speakers and contractors will have their work showcased through public broadcasting and earn income from their work.
Students will receive hands-on instruction and experience in producing and promoting a live radio drama.
