Artist Spotlight
Weekly interview with an artist or organization receiving funding from the northwest MN Arts Council -- many of which are Legacy projects. This collaborative project features interviews with photographers, painters, sculptors, woodcarvers, vocalists, musicians, actors, directors, arts advocates, educators, festival and fair organizers from Kittson, Marshall, norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau Counties. The 10-15 minute weekly segments are broadcast on Pioneer 90.1, posted on the northwest Minnesota Arts Council's Website, and made available to other Ampers stations via PRX.
KSRQ-FM
$1,891,500 the first year and $1,891,500 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
More Minnesota artists and arts organizations will have their work showcased through public broadcasting
The project will give more Minnesotans the opportunity to participate in and be exposed to art and culture
The project will result in an increase in locally and Minnesota-focused content produced and aired by public radio
