Intersections
These five minute stories highlight community members from all socio-economic, diverse and cultural backgrounds. The stories captured on video will be a digital first program followed by on-air broadcasts. We are partnering with area nonprofits to identify individuals with inspiring and enriching stories about overcoming adversity and celebrating the human spirit. A large component of this project is to demonstrate to community members, no matter their background, that we as human beings are more alike than we are different.?
$4,895,000 the first year and $4,025,000 the second year are to the Minnesota Public Television Association for production and acquisition grants according to Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.18. Of this amount, $950,000 the first year is for a grant to Twin Cities Public Television to produce Minnesota Journeys: Capturing, Sharing, and Understanding Our Immigration History.
