Arts, Cultural and History Projects
Twin Cities PBS Legacy funded content will include, but is not limited to:
- Multiple Arts and Cultural digital series featuring local artists, community stories, performances and other content.
- Minnesota Experience; history initiative with documentaries and other content
- Co-funded Legacy projects that leverage Legacy funding through partnerships, lifting arts, cultural and history initiatives throughout our communities {Grantors include and/or have made projects possible to date: Doris Duke Foundation, Good Family Foundation, 3M, Vision Maker Media, Marbrook Foundation, St. Paul Cultural STAR, RBC Fundation, Sundance Institute, HRK Foundation, Women's Foundation of MN, MN Orchestra}
$4,895,000 the first year and $4,025,000 the second year are to the Minnesota Public Television Association for production and acquisition grants according to Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.18. Of this amount, $950,000 the first yearis for a grant to the Twin Cities Public Television to produce Minnesota Journeys: Capturing, Sharing, and Understanding our Immigration History.
