Nobody understands gardening in Zone 3 and 4 like Great Gardening, the Northland's only TV show that's focused on the unique gardening joys and challenges in this region.
$4,895,000 the first year and $4,025,000 the second year are to the Minnesota Public Television Association for production and acquisition grants according to Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.18. Of this amount, $950,000 the first year is for a grant to Twin Cities Public Television to produce Minnesota Journeys: Capturing, Sharing, and Understanding Our Immigration History.
This is one of our most popular program, with Neilsen ratings consistantly at the top of it's time slot above all other networks in our area. It is a form of respite and joy for viewers and in this time we believe it is even more critical, as viewers become overwhelmed with the news of the day. Here we offer inspiration for what you can do ALONE in your own back yard. In FY21, we expand to the other fastest-growing quarantine passtime, cooking. This time combined with the food we can cook in our backyards.
