Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Intermediate project goals were to submit a NRHP evaluation to the SHPO and to incorporate any comments into a revised draft nomination. These target goals were achieved. The evaluation was submitted to the SHPO's Denis Gardner on August 23, 2013; Mr. Gardner responded on October 10, 2013 indicating that, based upon the evaluation, the property was eligible for listing in the NRHP. Mr. Gardner also provided helpful comments advice for revisions, which were incorporated into a final draft.

Long-term goals included submission of a revised NRHP nomination to SHPO, approval by Minnesota State Review Board, acceptance by the Keeper of the Register, and listing of the property in the National Register of Historic Places. A revised NRHP nomination was submitted to Denis Gardner in January 2014. The long-term goal--listing of the property in the NRHP--will require additional time for State Review Board hearing and NPS processing. I anticipate the long-term goals will be achieved and exceeded in the coming months by nominating the property as a City of Minneapolis Landmark with the assistance of City Councilperson Elizabeth Glidden.
