Legislative Report
Now in it's 49th season, Minnesota Legislative Report continues as the region's longest-running public affairs program. The half hour long program is a weekly review of activity at the state capitol, featuring lawmakers from Northeastern Minnesota. It offers viewers an opportunity to call or email their legislative questions and have them answered live, on the air.
$4,895,000 the first year and $4,025,000 the second year are to the Minnesota Public Television Association for production and acquisition grants according to Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.18. Of this amount, $950,000 the first year is for a grant to Twin Cities Public Television to produce Minnesota Journeys: Capturing, Sharing, and Understanding Our Immigration History.
Raising awareness on the critical legislation from our local legislators from NE Minnesota that are directly impacting their communities. This is particularly critical in this time when COVID-19 is reshaping the future of our communities and legislative actions at this time to address this are rising up.
