For Whatever ails you, Doctors on Call has the answer. Traditionally a program covering a host of different ailments, from heart to dimentia, etc., we have brought Doctors on Call back (it generally runs exclusively in the late fall and early winter) to address the pressing concerns of our viewers on topics of COVID-19. Not just the physical, but the psychological elements of this pandemic on our communities.
$4,895,000 the first year and $4,025,000 the second year are to the Minnesota Public Television Association for production and acquisition grants according to Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.18. Of this amount, $950,000 the first year is for a grant to Twin Cities Public Television to produce Minnesota Journeys: Capturing, Sharing, and Understanding Our Immigration History.
In the first two weeks, we've had an exponential surge in viewers and call-in questions, as people are looking for sound advice outside of social media from doctors to help dispell myths and keep themselves safe.
