Scott Thoma talked about his book “Out of the Blue” and explained details of the Tracy tornado of 1968. He explained how he came to write the book and spoke of his many memories of that historic day.

We hope that those in attendance will gain knowledge of that dreadful day in 1968 and that they will enjoy hearing about how Scott Thoma came to write this book. This may also inspire someone to write a book of his own. This is a historical event that happened in a neighboring community.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Those in attendance enjoyed the presentation. Mr. Thoma is a very good speaker. He allowed plenty of time for questions and sharing as many of those in attendance had things to share about loved ones or friends that had been involved in the Tracy tornado. Westbrook is not that far from Tracy.
