Mike Wohnoutka MNBA Award Winning Illustrator
Minnesota Book Award winning illustrator Mike Wohnoutka presented his books and illustration process. This program was paid for in part by funds set aside for the Minnesota Libraries statewide initiative. $800 was paid to Mike Wohnoutka for the statewide funds. This program took place at the Moorhead Library on June 26, 2017.

Those in attendance will learn about a prominent Minnesota illustrator, what is involved in the process of illustrating a book, and about his drawing process.
Attendees of all ages appreciated the program and asked a variety of questions. Attendees commented that they appreciated being able to see the illustrator/author's process. Valuable information was shared about illustration and the writing process. Attendees appreciated the personal interaction with the audience and commented on David's communication skills. At the end, approximately half of the attendees lined up for autographs thanked David for the fabulous presentation.
