Buster the Reading Clown reads stories and includes his cast of characters to help tell the story or just make surprise appearances. He will be reading summer-themed poetry.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will become familiar with various children's stories, poetry, and Buster the Clown's cast of characters. Children and parents will hear stories with themes of acceptance, kindness, and appreciating each other's differences. The students will develop interest in listening to and performing stories and will become more familiar with the poetry genre of literature. The cultural benefit of accepting and appreciating one another's differences will be emphasized throughout the program.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Buster the Clown was engaging, interactive and encouraged literacy. Children learned to appreciate the differences of others and to accept those differences.
