Buster the Reading Clown entertained the young children with an excellent storytime full of tricks and humor. His assistant Squeaky the Rubber Duck helped the children participate in "reading" the books, performing magic, and learning new jokes.

Exposure to classic children's books, clowning, magic. Interest in reading books. Increase excitement level in coming to the library.
Measurable Outcome(s)
All children (and caregivers) were exposed to some great classic children's books as well as to the idea of clowning and magic. (Expected Outcome #1) Buster allowed the children to "read" with him, which greatly increased their interest in "reading." (Expected Outcome #2) Children were able to have a new experience in a library setting therefore increasing their excitement about visiting the library. (Expected Outcome #3)
