Minnesota author and historian Steve Hoffbeck will gave 6 presentations on what life looked like here on the home front in Minnesota during World War II including what happened during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The presentations took place November 29 to December 15, 2016.

Those in attendance will learn about a Minnesota author and historian,
learn about the attack on Pearl Harbor and how Minnesota families were affected, and
learn about how families in Minnesota lived and worked while our troops were fighting WWII.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Surveys were collected from attendees. Attendees liked hearing stories related to local families while learning about history and WWII. The speaker was very good at story telling and did a good job of telling of MN's part in the war.
